Email Not Working
My e-mail isn't working, Why can't I send or receive anything?
Here are a few things that may be causing this:
- Email automatically being placed in your spam folder
- Using all of your allotted space
- Accidentally stopping an email from sending
Have you checked your spam folder recently? A very common reason that
people don’t receive messages they are waiting for is that the message
goes directly to the spam folder.
If you are missing an important email
this is the 1st place you should check.
The main reason that an email goes straight to the spam folder is that the person who sent the email isn't in your address book.The easiest
way to eliminate this problem is to add people to your address book!

Are you using up all of your allotted space? Email providers sometimes supply
their subscribers with a limited amount of space for emails.
If you
save a lot of emails or don’t check your email often enough, you may run
out of space. When this happens any incoming messages will be blocked.
You can get around this problem by shopping around for email providers
who offer lots of space. Most email providers offer tons of
space to subscribers – over 6.5 GB!

Are you frustrated with your email program because not all of your
e-mails are being sent?
Many people have this problem because they open
emails that are in the outbox folder. These are messages that are
waiting to be sent, if you open them while they are in the outbox folder
it can cause a change in the status of the message and it may not actually send. You will have to resend the message for the recipient to
receive the email.
An easy way to check and make sure your e-mail will
be sent is:
- Look in the outbox folder
- If the message is in bold, then there should be no problems in the delivery of the message!
- Otherwise resend it
